INNER STATE
BIO
Marios Karakasidis, aka Inner State, is a talented psytrance producer and sound designer from Thessaloniki / Greece. He first came in contact with the psytrance scene during his studies in the UK in the late 90s. In 2004, while deepening his knowledge of music production, he started his DJ career and set to ignite his own music productions under the name Inner State. His unique approach to music production soon gave him his first releases in 2007, and ever since he has published numerous EPs, singles and two studio albums: Terraforma in 2011 and Modus Operandi in 2015 on labels such as Iono Music, SpinTwist Rec, Yellow Sunshine, Blue Tunes, Tech Safari, Dreamstate and more.
With a dedication to pushing the boundaries of psytrance music and a commitment to creating resources that inspire other psytrance producers, he founded SounDirective in 2019 - a brand dedicated to high end audio samples and preset packs for psytrance producers. His innovative approach to production, combined with his unique teaching charisma and experience, has helped numerous producers emerge and achieve their career goals.
